JESUS MADE IT PRETTY CLEAR THAT RICH PEOPLE WILL HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING INTO HEAVEN.
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.
While Jesus may have been silent on same-sex relations, Jesus was not shy when speaking about wealthy people. Jesus was an advocate for the poor and most Christians are aware of this. What most Christians likely do not know about is his disdain for the rich. Jesus made this notion very clear, telling his followers that they cannot serve both God and money. In fact, when a rich man approached Jesus about how he could get into heaven, Jesus told him to go and sell what he owned and give the money to the poor.
When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.
